It is well known that Researches and publications complement teaching, training, community service and generally have significant positive impact in the wider socio economic developments. Publications in this type of peer-reviewed journals can also be regarded as an asset that enables authors to gain recognition and acknowledgement as experts in a particular field at national and international levels. This journal aims to engage in academic as well as policy-oriented researches that contribute in policy formulation and implementation on matters of urban development, notably, social, economic, environmental, political and related cross-cutting dimensions. Established in 2016, AJOLD covers a broad range of topics with a special interest in leadership and development research. AJOLD publishes challenging and groundbreaking articles engaging intellectuals and change makers. In the promotion of applied studies, the African Journal of Leadership and Development is a biannual publication circulated in December and June of each academic year to reach a global readership interested in African studies and development. AJOLD is an open-access, peer-reviewed, and is published in both print and online versions. AIM of AJOLD The general aim of AJOLD: To provide a platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange research findings, experiences, and views in reference to leadership and development issues in Ethiopia and broadly Africa. The journal is issued by Training Consultancy Division (TCD) of Ethiopian Civil Service University. TCD has been actively engaging in offering competency based training to leaders and employees of Ethiopian public sectors and rendering consultancy services to transform the public sector system. The submitted manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission. All paper submissions will go under a double-blind review process by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
